| [Source] These authentic vintage shoes from the 1980s have never been worn and have been fashionably preserved! How so, you ask? Well Italian designer Lauro Righi worked for important Italian shoes factories during the 1960s, 1970s, & 1980s and just recently his sons Anita & Andrea Righi have reintroduced these vintage shoes to the public. :D! The "Lauro Righi" products are high quality hand-crafted and they were made entirely in Italy in limited copies. Working on getting me a pair very soon! Pictures will indeed follow. <3 |

In the hip-hop age of the Nicki Mirage's, it is easy to lose sight of the rap pioneers of yesteryear. With the over-gimmicked hypes of today, the distraction from lyrical content to superficiality is bound to occur. Lip injections, butt implants, breast implants, exaggeration weaves, and outlandish outfits have become the norm. Instead of the showcasing of talents female emcees in hip-hop seem to be showcasing their ass-ets.
Reminiscing about the good ole' days of hip-hop, Roxanne Shanté or as she exclaimed "The Real Roxanne" came to mind. Busting on the scene at 14 years old, Roxanne Shanté left her mark on hip-hop world with her infamous diss response Roxanne's Revenge. Responding to hip-hop's trio U.T.F.O's record Roxanne Roxanne, she climbed to fame and created what is now known as one of the first female rap battle. Claiming the title as the "Real Roxanne", she is one of hip-hop first lady's and rightfully so!

I must own a pair of Jeffrey Cambell's shoes before the year is over. So I now have 362 days to complete this goal! His shoes are so yesterday meets today & has a baby with tomorrow! In other words they are modern vintage. The very look I go for while shopping for shoes for Rich & Vintage.

Vintage Inspiration: Black's in Vintage
This post Black's in Vintage is for the vintage photography lover who searches the internet with no avail looking for yesteryear prints of people of colored. In search of inspiration for www.richandvintage.com, I often times search the internet for African-American fashion from the 1960s & 1970s with little to no luck. To my luck, while browsing Facebook I noticed my cousin posted GREAT pictures of my family from the 1970s & 1980s!
